Set Up Options
ZeraWare consists of two parts: a SQL Server database and the ZeraWare application which consists of five safety software modules. ZeraWare can be set up in several ways.
1. The database and program (five modules) can be installed on one computer.
2. Or, the database can be installed on a server that connects multiple computers at one location. The program will be installed on each computer. All computers will share the same database.
3. Or, multiple SQL servers can be used to provide a separate database for multiple locations. Each location will only see their own reports, data and OSHA Log. But at a central or corporate office, the database from each location will be accessible. A common database may be configured as well.
4. For optimum performance capabilities, ZeraWare should be set up on a dedicated SQL Server.
5. With a Citrix system or other terminal server, the ZeraWare program can be quickly and easily rolled out to multiple seats.
Configuration Options
ZeraWare can be configured in several ways.
1. If your Company has a SQL server and VPN capability, ZeraWare can be run on your Company’s SQL server network and used at multiple locations. A wireless internet connection will be needed.
2. If your Company does not have a SQL server or VPN capabilities, your database can be set up on our Cloud platform. Your computers using ZeraWare with a wireless internet connection will be able to connect to your ZeraWare database.
3. ZeraWare can be used on a desk top computer in an office, a lap top in a truck or in any remote location. You can have a client-server set up or web based platform for your database; whichever you prefer.
