Technical Information
- ZeraWare is not compatible with MAC computers.
- ZeraWare requires a Microsoft SQL Server database.
- ZeraWare comes with a 32 bit Microsoft SQL 2005 Express database.
- If using a SQL server for the ZeraWare database; either 32 bit or 64 bit versions of the Microsoft SQL server 2005 and 2008 will work.
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Requirements:
- 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM (Windows XP), 64 MB of RAM (Windows 2000)
- 44 MB of available hard disk space
- Intel Pentium or compatible 166-megahertz (MHz) or higher processor.
If using the ZeraWare Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express database that comes with ZeraWare: 32 bit computers are required. Any of the following operating systems are compatible.
- Windows 7
- Windows Vista
- Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or later.
- Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4.
The ZeraWare SQL Server 2005 Express is not compatible with 64 bit computers. But ZeraWare can be used with a 64 bit computer if the 64 bit version of Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 or 2008 is installed.
.NET Framework 2.0 comes with ZeraWare:
- .NET Framework 2.0 will be installed automatically if not on the computer.
.NET Framework Requirements:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.01 or later
