ZeraWare has been in development for almost three years. It is a product of extensive safety management experience in the field. The features and functions designed into each program are based on sound safety management principles and practices that have been applied in the workplace. It is designed to be practical and thorough.

The intent of every feature of the ZeraWare modules is to provide computer-based benefits to safety management functions and tasks. Every effort has been taken to make ZeraWare user-friendly to the extent that anyone can quickly learn and use each software program regardless of their level of computer skills.

ZeraWare safety management software was created by Thomas L. Zera, C.S.P., President of Safety Management Services, Inc. in Williamsville, New York. Mr. Zera has over twenty years of industrial safety management experience as a Safety Manager, Corporate Safety Director and Safety Consultant. He is a Certified Safety Professional and is certified by the New York State Department of Labor as a Safety and Loss Prevention Consultant. Mr. Zera has been a senior occupational safety consultant and instructor for the National Safety Council and an instructor of safety courses at a local college. He conducts safety training and safety management seminars for a wide range of audiences including safety personnel, managers, supervisors and employees.

Mr. Zera is considered an expert in his field and has been a frequent speaker at safety conferences throughout the U.S. He has had numerous articles published in safety journals. He is also an expert witness: providing opinions in court testimony regarding accidents that involve litigation. As a consultant and President of his occupational safety consulting firm, Thomas Zera has provided safety management services to over 250 firms and organizations from a wide range of industries.
